This is my first post of many. I would like to start by introducing myself. My name is Christine McCormack and I am The Hotel Coach. I have been in the hotel industry for 25 years, most of this in 5 star hotels, as Executive Housekeeper. My experience is diverse, I have been involved in hotel openings, large and small refurbishments and gained a reputation as a troubleshooter with a no nonsense approach. I have tackled all sorts of challenges during my career, working in many hotels, from resort properties to city centre, exposed to many different styles of managers, gaining a wealth of experience about Housekeeping and Design and the importance of both to any property. Attention to detail, cleanliness, lighting and décor, all ingredients that need to work in harmony.
